Send in ANONYMOUS crime tips

Tips have been coming in to our CrimeNet system and the Portsmouth Police has executed search warrants as a result. Much more can be done. We believe that for every crime committed, someone other than the perpetrator knows about it. We urge the public to send in anonymous tips on crimes that has already been committed and crimes which have not yet been committed.

• Your tip will be completely anonymous. Nobody will know who sent it.

• If you choose to be contacted by Law Enforcement, your email address will not be accessible by them. The CrimeNet system stores your email address on a secure server and assigns a number to your tip. The officer replies to the tip number and the CrimeNet server does the rest.
